CUSTOM OPTIONS

Do you offer colours in addition to those shown in the photos?

Yes, I have a huge range of colour options available for all of my options. Please scroll through the photos to see the colour charts for the shades I offer. For all of my superhero capes, I can create any colour combination you wish from the colours I have available. If you can't see the option you are after, simply click "Other" in the drop-down menu and add a note for what you would like.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, I do! If you have something specific in mind, please message me and I'll get back to you with pricing options if I think I may be able to assist.

 

GENERAL

Do you donate to charity?

Yes! Each year, I donate a portion of my business profits to three charities as chosen by my social media community. Through these charities, I aim to represent a spectrum of my core values. Certain products in my store are charity items for which a portion of every item sold is donated directly to a worthy cause.

What do you do to show you care about the environment?

Sustainability is at the forefront of my business ethos, and so I create each item with care and the intention for it to last. ​I reserve small pieces of fabric for re-using on other items.​ The smallest of scraps are donated to local schools and nurseries to use for craft products. My products are wrapped sustainably in recycled tissue paper with a recycled paper tag.​ I package my products in either compostable or paper mailbags.

GIFT GIVING

I’m sending my item as a gift; Do you send directly to the recipient?

Yes, I can post your item straight to the recipient. Simply include their address in the delivery address section at checkout. 

 

Can I add a gift note?

Of course! I can write a gift note for you at no extra charge. Simply add a note in the "custom text" field for what you would like me to say.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

For a small extra charge, I can wrap your item in my branded robin paper and paper tape - all plastic-free, so can all be recycled.

Do you offer your mentoring services year-round?

In order to give my all to each client, and set enough time aside to fulfil my product orders, I am only able to offer sessions in my quieter periods of the year which is usually from March-August. However, please do pop over to my mentoring course page to see if the booking window is currently open.

 

PACKAGING

How is my item wrapped?

All of my items come wrapped in recycled red tissue paper, secured with a branded sticker and hand-stamped recycled gift tag. I do offer a gift-wrapping service for a little extra.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Which forms of payment do you accept?

All of my items can be purchased through my website which welcomes all major debit and credit cards. Payment via PayPal is also available.

POSTAGE

How long will I have to wait for my item to be dispatched?

EXPRESS DISPATCH: This option is available if you require your items quickly. The fee is for dispatching the parcel quickly, within 3 business days as opposed to the usual 3-5 business days. UK orders are upgraded to 1st class delivery with this service. Please note that there is no faster international shipping service than the one currently used so, selecting this option, only guarantees that the item/s are dispatched quickly.

How long does postage take in the UK?

STANDARD DELIVERY: Parcels are sent via Royal Mail Second Class Delivery for UK items and Royal Mail International Standard Service for overseas items.

UK DELIVERY: Shipping is FREE for all UK orders! Royal Mail second class post is used as standard. An express dispatch option is available which, in addition to ensuring your parcel is dispatched more quickly, upgrades the shipping service from 2nd to 1st class. Both of these services are untracked. Shipping upgrades to Royal Mail Special Delivery are available if you would like to track your delivery.

How long does postage take outside of the UK?

OVERSEAS DELIVERY: Overseas packages are sent via Royal Mail International Delivery which usually takes around 5-7 working days once your item is dispatched. This is a guide and can take up to a month during busier periods such as Halloween and Christmas. Shipping upgrades to Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed Delivery are available if you would like to track your delivery; This service takes the same time to arrive as the standard option but it does offer extra peace of mind of being able to track your parcel.

EU CUSTOMS CHARGES: Please note that, where customs fees apply for EU-based customers (living outside of the UK), it is the customer's responsibility to pay for any customs fees owed.

PRODUCTS

Are your costumes made to last?

My costumes are sewn to the highest quality and are designed to stand the test of time. Many customers contact me years later with photos of my costumes still in use and being lovingly worn several years later. However, please note that they are not intended to withstand rough play.

You say your items are custom-made, but what does that mean?

All of my costumes are created bespoke, entirely to your choice of size, colour and personalisation. The options for each item are endless.

Are your costumes CE and/or UKCA safety tested?

All of my costumes are both CE and UKCA safety tested.

 

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Do you accept refunds and exchanges?

As all items are bespoke and therefore made to order, I am unable to offer refunds as standard. However, if your item is faulty, please get in touch with me.

Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?

I do create my orders quickly, as I'm keen for you to receive your items as soon as I can! However, if you do change your mind within a couple of hours of purchasing with me, please do message me and, providing I haven't started created your item/s yet, I will happily refund you.

SIZING

Do you make adult-sized items?

All of my costumes are available in adult sizes too.

Can I choose the size of my costume?

Yes. Everything is created bespoke. I design each costume to keep the sizing flexible (so each costume can be worn by several age groups at once) but, to help with sizing, I include sizing charts in the listing photos where possible.

WASHING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Can I machine wash my item?

My costumes are recommended wipe clean/hand-washing only and, because of this, are recommended for age 3+. Where items are machine washable I have tried to include this in the item details. However, if you have any specific care instructions regarding any of my items, please contact me.

What do I do if the lettering/decoration starts to peel off?

Should the vinyl letters start to peel away from the item, they can be re-applied by ironing. A piece of fabric, such as a clean tea towel, should be applied between the iron and the cape to avoid damaging the fabric itself.
