"Chase the Play, not the Pay" with Andy from Unruly Print

I chatted to Andy Greenacre from Unruly Print as part of PedddleUk's #GoLiveInMay Instagram challenge this month. Along with “Dave the Press”, Andy works from his garden studio in sunny Suffolk, UK. He creates lino prints which include commissions, limited and open editions. He welcomes you to approach him via his Etsy shop or Instagram page as he is always keen to take on new designs. Andy has ideas for creating bespoke totem bespoke art prints too so do pop over if you would like to commission him with one.

I was lucky enough to join Andy as part of the Unruly Print “Launch Lounge” series last month with the introduction of my new superhero range and his “Happy” print. Further details of his Launch Lounge series, where Andy supports small businesses to promote their product launches alongside a new design created by him especially for the occasion, can be found on the Unruly Print Instagram page.

“Chase the Play, not the Pay” were Andy’s words of wisdom for bringing success to his business. In his opinion, the key for a sustainable and ever-evolving business is a work-life balance that holds control, flexibility and enjoyment integral to each working day.

Andy nominated Hannah Weeks from Talking of Plants as his small business recommendation. Hannah creates illustrated gifts and practical plant advice and guides for succulent obsessives; all drawn in Suffolk and made in the UK.
